At Zelda & Rocky Coffee Roasters, we are committed to providing high-quality, freshly roasted coffee and excellent customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Our returns policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, refund, or repair if the goods you purchased:
- Are faulty or defective.
- Are not as described or do not match the sample or demonstration model.
- Are not fit for their intended purpose.
Please note that a change of mind does not entitle you to a refund or exchange under Australian Consumer Law.
Eligibility for Returns
1. Coffee Products:
- Due to the perishable nature of coffee, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for roasted coffee unless the product is defective or damaged upon arrival.
- If you believe there is an issue with the quality of your coffee, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
2. Non-Coffee Products (e.g., merchandise or accessories):
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received them.
- Returns for non-coffee products must be initiated within 14 days of purchase.
3. Shipping Damage:
- If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
How to Request a Return or Refund
1. Contact Us:
- Email us at sales@zeldaandrocky.coffee or message us on social media within the specified timeframes.
- Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photos or evidence (if applicable).
2. Assessment:
- We will assess your claim and notify you of the outcome within 7 business days.
3. Return Instructions:
- If a return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to return the item.
- For defective or faulty goods, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days of receiving the returned item or resolving the issue.
- Refunds for faulty goods include the cost of the product and any shipping fees paid at the time of purchase.
Exclusions
Returns or refunds are not available for:
- Change of mind.
- Products that have been opened, used, or damaged after delivery (unless the damage is due to a fault).
- Orders where incorrect details were provided by the customer.
